Early November brought news of tragic death of Maserati drummer Jerry Fuchs, who died in an accident on November 8th. As Wikipedia states:

Early in the morning on November 8, 2009, Fuchs was caught in a broken elevator in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York City, and when he attempted to jump out of the car, he accidentally fell to his death down the elevator shaft. He was attending a benefit to raise education funds for underprivileged children in India.

Outside of Maserati, Fuchs was also involved with numerous other bands, including Turing Machine and !!! and he also worked with Juan McLean.
